1928 Packard Speedster
Inspired by the 1928 Jesse Vincent Speedster, this car is crafted with components of three different Packard cars. This “Speedster” is purpose built for events like the Great Race. Using the Lightweight frame from a Packard Six, the engine and drivetrain from a Packard Eight and the heavy duty suspension form a Packard Hearse.
Great Race
The Great Race is a classic rally for street-legal vintage automobiles at least 45 years old. Vehicles must use original factory parts, and modern navigational aids like GPS are prohibited. This year the Great Race celebrates the centenial of Route 66 and follows it from Springfield, IL to San Bernardino CA.
